Package: perl-Text-Unaccent
Summary: Remove accents from a string

 Description:
Text::Unaccent is a module that provides functions to remove accents
from a string. For instance the string été will become ete. The
charset of the input string is specified as an argument. The input is
converted to UTF-16 using iconv(3), accents are stripped and the
result is converted back to the original charset. The iconv -l
command on GNU/Linux will show all charset supported.

The argparse module makes it easy to write user-friendly command-line
interfaces. The program defines what arguments it requires, and argparse
will figure out how to parse those out of sys.argv. The argparse module
also automatically generates help and usage messages and issues errors
when users give the program invalid arguments.

 Package: judy
Summary: Library which provides fully dynamic arrays

 Description:
The Judy library provides fully dynamic arrays. These arrays may be indexed
by a 32- or 64- bit word size, a null terminated string, or an array-of-bytes
plus length. A dynamic array (sparsely populated) can also be thought of as a
mapping function or associative memory. These arrays are both speed- and
memory- efficient across a wide range of index set types (sequential,
periodic, clustered, random). Their speed and memory usage are typically
better than storage models such as skiplists, linked lists, binary, ternary,
b-trees, or even hashing, and improves with very large data sets.

 Description:
mcs is a library and set of userland tools which abstract the storage of
configuration settings away from userland applications.
It is hoped that by using mcs, that the applications which use it will
generally have a more congruent feeling in regards to settings.
There have been other projects like this before (such as GConf), but unlike
those projects, mcs strictly handles abstraction. It does not impose any
specific data storage requirement, nor is it tied to any desktop environment or
software suite.

 Description:
Protocol Buffers are a way of encoding structured data in an efficient
yet extensible format. Google uses Protocol Buffers for almost all of
its internal RPC protocols and file formats.
Protocol buffers are a flexible, efficient, automated mechanism for
serializing structured data – think XML, but smaller, faster, and
simpler. You define how you want your data to be structured once, then
you can use special generated source code to easily write and read
your structured data to and from a variety of data streams and using a
variety of languages. You can even update your data structure without
breaking deployed programs that are compiled against the "old" format.

limits itself to real numbers, but an extra use statement brings full complex
support, along with a full set of mathematical functions typically associated
with and/or extended to complex numbers.

 Description:
Perl keeps arrays of subroutines that are executed at the beginning and at the
end of a running Perl program and its program units. These subroutines
correspond to the special code blocks: BEGIN, UNITCHECK, CHECK, INIT and END.
(See details at "BEGIN, UNITCHECK, CHECK, INIT and END " in perlmod.) This
module provides limited capabilities to manipulate these arrays.

 Description:
The Carp routines are useful in your own modules because they act like die() or
warn(), but with a message which is more likely to be useful to a user of your
module. In the case of cluck, confess, and longmess that context is a summary
of every call in the call-stack. For a shorter message you can use carp or croak
which report the error as being from where your module was called. There is no
guarantee that that is where the error was, but it is a good educated guess.

Dist::Zilla builds distributions of code to be uploaded to the CPAN. In this
respect, it is like ExtUtils::MakeMaker, Module::Build, or Module::Install.
Unlike those tools, however, it is not also a system for installing code that
has been downloaded from the CPAN. Since it's only run by authors, and is
meant to be run on a repository checkout rather than on published, released
code, it can do much more than those tools, and is free to make much more
ludicrous demands in terms of prerequisites.

 Package: perl-Moose-Autobox
Summary: Autoboxed wrappers for Native Perl datatypes

 Description:
Moose::Autobox provides an implementation of SCALAR, ARRAY, HASH & CODE for use
with autobox. It does this using a hierarchy of roles in a manner similar to
what Perl 6 might do. This module, like Class::MOP and Moose, was inspired by
my work on the Perl 6 Object Space, and the 'core types' implemented there.
