cups - Common Unix Printing System
The Common UNIX Printing System provides a portable printing layer for
UNIX® operating systems. It has been developed by Easy Software Products
to promote a standard printing solution for all UNIX vendors and users.
CUPS provides the System V and Berkeley command-line interfaces.

- Fix character encoding in CREDITS.txt.
- Mark D-Bus configuration file as config file.
- Don't mark MIME types and convs files as config files. Overrides
can be placed as new *.types/*.convs files in /etc/cups.
- Don't mark banners as config files. Better is to provide new banners.
- Don't mark initscript as config file.
- Don't mark templates and www files as config files. A better way to
provide local overrides is to use a different ServerRoot setting.
Note that a recent security fix required changed to template files.
- Provide versioned LPRng symbol for rpmlint.
- Use mode 0755 for binaries and libraries where appropriate.
- Move /etc/cups/pstoraster.convs to /usr/share/cups/mime/.
- Move cups-config man page to the devel sub-package.
- Revert STR #2537 so non-UTF-8 clients continue to be accepted (bug #642448).
- The php sub-package now explicitly requires the libs package with
the same version and release (bug #646814).
- Added tolerance for DNS failures (bug #654667).
- Fixed initscript to stop service on reboot/halt (bug #659692).
